A brief seawatch late afternoon produced 12 Shelduck west, 8 Red throated Diver east, 3 Great crested Grebe, c40 Starling west at sea, 1 Peregrine, 5 Great Black backed Gull, 8 Large Auk sp east, 1 Redshank, 3 Turnstone, 1 Sanderling, 2 Red breasted Merganser east, 1 Little Egret, c40 Cormorant and 1 Black throated Diver drifting east offshore. Recording on the night of the 28th only produced a few Redwing calls and some Brent Geese.
