A 40 minute look at Bishopstone from 4:20pm until dusk produced 1 Robin, 2 Blackbird, 9 Golden Plover, 10 Grey Partridge, c300 Brent Geese over Reculver and 2 Woodcock at dusk.
A 40 minute shufty around Bishopstone until dusk, and it produced 10 Grey Partridge. Now a rare bird in the wild in our recording area of north Lancashire, but released as game would you believe it Marc.
So frustrating working and missing out on birds no doubt passing through. Luckily, I'm only a 5 minute cycle from the patch so It's nice to be able to get down occasionally. A Red legged Partridge would be nice. Very scarce in this area fro me. Take care.
