I didn't venture out until after the rain had stopped around 9am where I spent about 5 hours walking around the area in mostly cloudy conditions with a sea fog and light wind. The sun did however, come out in the afternoon for a while. Birds noted included 1 Stock Dove, 6 Collared Dove, 1 Oystercatcher, 3 Whimbrel east, 3 Turnstone, 2 Black headed Gull, 4 Mediterranean Gull, 1 Common Gull, 4 Great Black backed Gull, 2 Great crested Grebe offshore, 9 Cormorant, 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Kestrel, 4 Magpie, 9 Jackdaw, 1 Rook, 29 Carrion Crow, 4 Blue Tit, 6 Great Tit, 1 Skylark, c80 Sand Martin, 3 Swallow, 7 Chiffchaff and 1 Cetti's Warbler. There were 2 Long tailed Tit, 4 Blackcap, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Common Whitethroat, 1 Firecrest, 5 Wren, 18 Starling, 2 Song Thrush, 8 Blackbird, 4 Robin, 4 Dunnock, 14 House Sparrow, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 5 Meadow Pipit, 4 Chaffinch, 18 Linnet and 4 Goldfinch.
Love your Lesser Whitethroat image, not the easiest to see out in the open and photograph.
