A brief look at the sea from 7:15 for an hour and and then a walk around the glen and a look from the clifftop produced 5 Brent Geese, 19 Woodpigeon, 2 Collared Dove, 1 Pomarine Skua flew west, 1 Razorbill (151) was sitting on the sea where I had good scope views, 1 Guillemot, 99 Black headed Gull, 1 Mediterranean Gull, 1 Common Gull, 292 Herring Gull, 2 Great Black backed Gull, 5 Sandwich Tern, 2 Great crested Grebe, 3 Red throated Diver, 2 Gannet and c15 Cormorant. There were 2 Little Egret, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Great spotted Woodpecker, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Kestrel, 1 Jay, 3 Rook, 26 Skylark west at sea, 5 Swallow, 1 Chiffchaff, 7 Goldcrest, 2 Firecrest, 2 Grey Wagtail, 1 Pied Wagtail, 11 Meadow Pipit, 111 Chaffinch west, 20 Linnet and 1 Crossbill west. Still no sight or sound of a Yellow browed Warbler in Bishopstone Glen despite a good search. Hopefully a few more visits will soon be rewarded.
